Our single failed spectacularly .. and our double was within a whisker of completing , with Strong Suit only failing to deliver the goods by the narrowest of margins ... going down by a short neck.

9/4 was an excellent price for Mount Athos who finished over 3 lengths clear as 5/4 fav SP.

Seriously disappointed that TAAJUB was beaten a short head ..

the other two horses were beaten by a country mile and not in the shake up towards the finishing end.

Hopefully a few of the selections will finish 1st in order that we break even for the pool ....

This horse has been tipped by the stable previously winning at big odds. Under the impression been primed for this meeting again since they have taken the exact same route; via a 7 furlongs race at Newcastle (a trip the horse has never won at). He is now 1lb lower than his win on this card last year and wasn't overly exercised last time out. The return to a mile in his favour and forecast rain a bonus.





PLAN A 1pt (4/20)  Finished a close and creditable second but as we do not do each-way, little consolation!!!

Louis The Pious capable of putting in a bold show here. He has a tremendous flat line speed; fast ground a help, should go very close here.
Form on fast ground is 2323111414 and on 6f on fast ground is 3311114 so a fantastic record when conditions suit.

Finished a length and bit down in second at least he ran his race .. but second is nowhere in terms of profit.

2.35 Goodwod: Gregorian @ 7/2
Stake: Plan B - 1 units  (1/100)

Finished third in a three way race to the line; beaten less than a length ... again nowhere in profitable terms.

Think my boots have sprung a leak early doors :(

Competitive handicap; draw will play a big role and hard to rule many out. Decent Fella has had two fantastic runs this season and looks set for another one. Fifth in the Buckingham Palace Stakes where he was unlucky; forced to switch and flew home; shade unlucky in the Bunbury Cup but had a poor draw and second on his side

Good draw here and won here on last start on this track  .. fingers crossed.

Ignore his latest run as he has two good runs here both second with a fantastic second to Sea Moon; Best form me on offer since only beaten a head with Sea Moon franking the form Dandino gets the ground he loves and him deliver. Johnny Murtagh booking is a plus.

Well sorry I have been away but extremely busy period and moved houses so a lot of things have taken a back seat.

But down to business and pour some fresh oil into the burner and I hope to provide you with the some of the best bets in the coming season ...
